Employment Services

ETCE: Education To Careers (Entrepreneurship)

Employment Services helps participants develop the skills required for employment and career development through workshops, resources, and internships. Stipend-based youth apprenticeships offer paid opportunities to develop soft skills in an arts-based creative environment.

Technology training in coding for youth, Junior Achievement entrepreneurship workshops for kids, and Chicago Police Department recruitment for adults are currently offered.

BBF Family Services also provides job preparation and search assistance, as well as mock interviewing and resume-building workshops. Our programs work directly with homeless and almost homeless, underemployed, and difficult to employ individuals. BBF also provides professional development coaching.
